Would a ignition Control Module cause a ';misfire on cyl 4'; code?

I've changed the wires-plugs AND the coil pack on my girls 98 olda achevia and that code still comes up when I clear it then restart it. and it still misses to.Would a ignition Control Module cause a ';misfire on cyl 4'; code?

yes it can cause a misfire did you try changing the crank position snesor and plugs cap and rotor and wires??
