the tv was givin to me by a deceased relative so there is no way to get the previous code.I have a parental control lock on my Mitsubishi tv and I dont know the code, the tv is lockedwhat can i do?
Find the owner's guide at this site. You must press a couple of keys on the remote when password is requested.

A couple of examples say to hold the 9 and the QV buttons on the remote when password is requested.
WARNING: If you are actually doing this to get around parental controls it will be obvious since the password must be reset.
